HOW TO REGISTER MAINLAND COMPANY IN UAE?

  • 1. CHOOSE A PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

    Select from the commercial/trading, consulting, professional, or industrial business activity types. Within one category of activities, you have a variety of options.
  • 2. SELECT A LAWFUL LAYOUT

    This will depend on the type of business activity owners want to engage in.
  • 3. CHOOSE THE TRADE NAME

    It's a good idea to provide three potential names, ranked in order of choice. The names should be distinct, meaningful, and unrelated to any religion. All partners and the management partners must now provide their paperwork (passport, visa, EID, NOC for UAE residents, and residential address).
  • 4. INITIAL APPROVAL

    In order to confirm that the company can be established and that the name has been approved, submit an application for initial approval in DED.
  • 5. GET AN AGREEMENT READY

    The MOA (Memorandum of Association) and LSA (Local Sponsor Agreement) will be prepared by DED based on the information provided.
  • 6. CHOOSE A BUSINESS LOCATION

    A leasing contract (Ejari) is necessary to complete the registration process on the Mainland. It might refer to an office, a business center, or a showroom. It may be rented or acquired anywhere in the Emirate where your company is registered.
  • 7. OBTAIN APPROVALS

    It may be necessary to obtain outside permissions for some commercial operations from agencies like the MOH (Ministry of Health and Prevention), the Civil Defense, the Police, etc.
  • 8. GET A BUSINESS LICENSE

    After the MOA, the LSA was signed, all permissions were secured, and all payments were made. The license will be issued in conjunction with the MOA.
Note: it takes approximately 5 to 12 working days to establish a Mainland company after receiving the full set of required documents. In case of external approval for some of the business activities, the timeframe may take longer.
